Summer is slowly but surely coming to a start here in rainy Michigan which means camping season is about to ramp up! Steve had bought a Coleman Camp Stove from Salvation Army a while ago in great condition. It sparked up as soon as we put fuel in it and hadn’t had the opportunity to use it anytime soon after the purchase.

When we lived in LA, we rented a RV with some friends and took it to Laguna Seca for a weekend. Altho we had a kitchen in the RV, we thought it wouldn’t hurt to bring our Coleman stove along for outdoor usage. Since it had lit up when we first bought it, we didn’t think to check it before we took it with us. Sure enough, we brought it out to use and realized the fuel pump was broken and not fuelizing the tank.

Steve has always been great at working on projects and was easily able to fix our Coleman grill. Below is a video on how he fixed it. We were able to take it camping with us to Joshua Tree afterwards. While fires are great during camping, it’s still great to bring along our Coleman Stove just in case we want to use it!
